I like love songs, especially the meaningful lyrics of songs. Lyrics not only represent love, but also include other aspects. My favorite song is “Nothing gonna change my love for you”. The song is sing by a black jazz singer called Glenn Medeiros . His voice is soft and can touch everyone hearts. He was singing this song when he was 16 years old, at the age 16 can be able to sing songs with a gentle voice is not easy. Listen to foreign music is really an enjoyable thing to me especially the Korean songs because I’m very love the group in Korea – Super Junior. SJ’s music including many different genre: pop, trot, rock, love, etc.So through listening their albums I can enjoy every music genre. And because they are Korean’s group,so the lyrics are all in Korean.It give me a big motivation to learn it. Chorus music is my favorite. I have heard so many choruses’ performances, such as Evergreen from Japan, The Australian Voices from Australia, Tapiola Chamber Choir from Finland, Formosa Singers from Taiwan and chorus from other schools. They have different styles in voices and ways they present the music.
I like “The Lord’s Prayer”, which composed by René Clausen. He is one of my favorite composer, who made so many good works(and is also a well-known conductor. )
“For the Sake of our Children” is also on of my favorite songs, which is made by Jeffery L. Ames. The melody of the song has a magic power that can touched one’s heart. I feel like weeping everytime I heard the melody, and the lyrics is warm:

may your angels guard and protect then we pray…“In Remembrance” is Jeffery’s another work. I don’t know how to describe my feeling to this song because it is difficult to tell you how wonderful the melody is. It sounds tender but full of power.
The last song I want to share with you is “There Will Be Rest”. The lyric is a poem by Sara Teasdale. It is said that the poem committed suicide after completing this poem. The song seems to imply the poet’s decision to commit suicide.

I enjoy pop music, especially with fast tempo but not rap songs. Listening to pop songs makes me in the trend because pop songs are usually sung by young and famous singers. Besides pop music, I also like to listen to Korean music in my free time. The reason is that I am interested in watching Korean TV series. And, most of the Korean singers not only are good looking but also dance well, which makes their performances more fascinating. I like many Korean group, such as MBLAQ, Beast and 2AM. Though I don’t really understand what Korean lyrics mean I can still sing them as Korean songs’ lyrics tend to be repeated all the time. When I listen to music I feel relaxed!
