I have almost the same thought as the writer’s. It is now indeed the time of information explosion, which allows people to grab a large amount and a variety of information in short time. As we eager to get as much information as we want, the Internet does sharp our reading speed. On the other hand, owing to the emergence of (micro) blog, twitter, facebook, and other tools for communicate on the Internet, it has become more and more convenient for people to express themselves through computer or cell phone “writing”. However, high-speed reading, which is more like scanning, and leisure writing are quite different from the traditional ones. We can feel it easily just in our daily life that the depth of thinking is different between reading information on the Internet and absorbing in a book or a long article. That is, as you invariably accept all the information from the Internet without (deep) thinking and your own opinions, you would more likely to think like a machine!

I agree the author. In the period, Internet is the tool we communicate with other people from other places even other countries. And we share the imformations in the Net. We can get more and more and more data in the Net. Many people use MSN to talk to their friends, so do I. Even though it’s very convenient , it has some defects. We can type our talks, but we can’t sent the real emotions to people. And we usually type on the computer. We will foget the words how to write over a long period of time, and make us to think like a machine.

I totally agree with the author. When we need to find some information, we all google first and then download it. Because it is the fastest way to get the information in these days. Due to the convenient search engine, we all most rely on the internet deeply. I believe this condition will make us becoming a lazy person. We do not need to think in our mind anymore because of the amazing technology. The more we eager for the information from the internet , the more we lose our ability of reading books. That is, our brain would probably think like a machine.

I totally agree with the author’s opinion. When I need to find some information, I always google first and then download the part what I want. Because I think it is the fastest way to get the information in these days. Due to the convenient search engine, we do not think much and feel difficult about grabbing the news. In my opinion, I agree his thoughts in this article because recently I encountered a feeling that when I used the computer to deal with documents or searching information for a long time;my concentration dramatically disappear and then I couldn’t even think really clearly during the process of reading articles.
However, this situation would improve if I have sufficient rest . I find that reading or writing articles on the computer has little chance to reflect what you have read or write,for your thoughts are used to thinking and organizing in a rapid way. You won’t be familiar with thinking independly by yourself.Therefore, it could be a potential problems or risks thorgh the Internt.

In my opinion,I do agree with the author’s thoughts.In the modern society,there are so many Internet tools to be used,such as google,yahoo,msn,and so on.We must admit that they brings a lot of convienience and efficience in our daily life.These tools also save our much time to do the works.However,Internet does change the way of reading and writing that we used to have.Most of people may think Internet is more convienient than some of old learning ways,me included.As we know the world is changing every seconds,techonology is from humanity eventually.We do rely on the techonology and Internet so much.After a long period,I think we all think and write like a machine,so do our next generation.This is what techonology brings from the other sides.

I do agree with half of it. Nowadays, developments are increasing rapidly. We absorb the speedy information conveniently and ignore what we don’t need directly. It’s easily making our reading even writing ability change. This kind of change usually has a delimiting way. We don’t get used to read more, and just glimpse the title or keywords. Also, there are many micro blogs, which we can type very few words to express our timely thoughts or something unimportant in daily life. But, I don’t think that we will be thinking like a machine. We will merely care about what we want and focus on what we need. It could decrease our thinking, but not that serious.

As to me, I identify with the author’s thoughts. Many people use the computer for a long time at present. They chat with typing and communicate with Internet.It not only influence personal relationships but also is unable to express emotion in person. Although Internet is so convenient that we can save much time to collect information, our behavior and recation almost like a machine. By the development of science and technology, it bring a great benefit to human. But some disadvantage is not good for humanity. We have to think up a way to balance virtual world in the future.

The internet is too easy to get the information. So we can only type what we want that the information is appeared. So I think the net is very convenience, no matter what you want. And I agree that we think like machine because your reading and writing skills will be improved. And you can see the online newspaper and magazines on the net. You can read it without paying money. Although there are lots of problems in authorities, we just do not touch the illegal websites that the internet is very fun to play.

The writer is right! Internet is too convenient, people are lazy to seek for information from books. Because MSN (or something else), people don’t like to meet each other face by face. Take my friend for example, my friend and I are in the same class, he used msn to discuss something with me. (He just sit in back of me= =) Although I agree with the writer, I am the same victim of Internet, too. It’s really convenient for a busy student .

I agree with the author’s idea sometimes. In our modern life, we have a lot of choices to do on the Internet. We have different tools to communicate with people and get information. Sometimes we only get the information without thinking. We just put them into our brain so our thoughts become more like machine or like other people.
We do not think or write by ourselves. Internet can help us to search data and it is convenient for us to learn something quickly.
But, we should not always rely on the Internet, we can go out and search by ourselves and collect the information. We should not always get the information that was already arranged from other people. We can have our own ideas not just follow other’s thoughts.
We can read and think more. That can help us to improve ourselves. -
Of course I agree with the author’s idea. There are many things of me are shaped by the technology. My memorize ability is worse and worse because I have a cellphone and the computer. I have not to memorize the phone number and I can communicate other person easily by the computer. Although I do not use computer every day, I still consider that I can not live without Internet. However, I am not thinking like a machine. I keep writing my diary and read some materials which I interested every day. I hope I can find a balance in technology and originality.

I agree with the author definitely. We can’t live without Internet. Students need Internet to complete the project and get the information from computer. We also get currently events when we surf the Internet. Every people may stressful sometimes. They also can listen to the music by using computer. I completely agree with the author. The Internet brings us lots of information and convenience or even entertainment, but that doesn’t mean we can rely on the Internet all the time. The Internet is just a kind of tool which is very useful and popular. If we rely on the Internet excessively, our writing skill and some academic abilities may not make any progress; instead, it will only regress quickly. In my opinion, collecting information by using the Internet is a good choice because of its convenience, but it is not the only way to do so. We can search the information we want by using some traditional ways, such as going to libraries, finding the information from newspapers and magazines. Even though those traditional ways might cost you more time, I think it is worth doing it.

I do agree with the author’s idea opinion. Our life company with Internet. We usually search information, reading news, even communicate with friends by the Internet. It seems thet we rely on the Internet too much. Internet realy helps us finding datas, and it is realy convenient. Technology gives us a convenient life, and we spend less time on doing. I think I agree with the thoughts from the author. Nowadays,we can find the information from a lot of searching engines such as yahoo,msn,google,etc.

I agree with the author, our minds are being controlled by Google. I think most people can’t live without surfing the net once or twice a day; it plays an important role in our daily life. We rely on the internet for immediate information, entertainment and social life. When using the internet we just scan or read, but seldom use our brain to think, that’s why we’re numbed. Take myself for example, I surf the internet everyday to do homework or search for interesting videos on YouTube to watch. I rely on the internet to get available information about foreign singers, which can only be seen on the internet. I do strongly agree with the author’s idea about the Internet brings bad influence on people. In the mordern society, people are too rely on the Internet. When we got problems, we seldom to check up the book or dictionary, what we do is only click our finger without thinking. Partly I agree with the author, and it’s true that the internet is shaping our mind and literacy. Maybe google is shaping our mind in somehow ways but if someone already have the ability to write down what he or she wants to express then the internet will be just a tool, besides it can offer the public more information and see the different parts in the same issue. In another hand I think computer is a tool as well, there’s lots situations people need to handwrite in papers.

I think that the author is right. The Internet has lots of function. We use google to surf everything. It seems like our brain has become a machine. In my view,i’m half agree of auther’s thought. Rencently,most of people can’t live without internet. When we need some information,the first thing we do is serching on internet. I do agree with the author. With this useful searching tool, people just need type keywords and push the enter bottom and then there will be a lot of information come out. However, there may involve lot of error information. If user does not filter the information, that may cause some serious problems. Moreover, by this convenience searching engine, people begin to stop thinking with different point of views and easily forget what they had searched. People will stop thinking little by little.

I think it is not depend on the Web. It is depend on you. How do you use the Internet ? If you always copy the information on the Web for your report and didn’t think what it is, you may be a person who can think too munch. However, If you get the information and think it, your thinking would’t like machine. If you always copy the sentences and paragraph on the Web, your writing will never get better. I agree the author’s thought. From now on, many people use computer with internet to talk. That’s really convenient, if I see this paragraph, I might steal want to use the Net. Why it is not good? That because we can forget a lot of words. We do not correct the correct words. After several months or years, we can forget almost 20 percent of words we have learned. Searching tool gives us a huge informations, and it improves our reading and writing skills. But it means we just can read or write on the cyber not on the paper. I think that Google is shaping our reading and writing as well as making us to think like a machine. Nowadays, it’s inevitable for modern people to use Google search engine. Most people want to get the useful information they need as soon as possible. However, if it is very easy for us to get the information we want on the Internet, we will be a machine that only can receive information on the website. We wouldn’t use our brain to think. We don’t have our own thoughts. We won’t think the information on Google is correct or not. And if we always search the information on Google when we do our assignment, it will be pretty hard for us to learn anything. For example, if we use Google’s dictionary to consult the new words or unfamiliar words, we might forget the words very quickly. Then, our reading and writing skill won’t improve a lot.

Internet is a global information data bank. You can easily get any information you need and see the latest news. It’s also a social medium. Facebook and msn are the most important connected system to people in Taiwan now. This English invention had changed many people’s life style, and google is one of the important parts of it.

I agree with Nicholas’s saying. Nowadays, people were strongly affected by 3C products, especially computers. In my experience, I have felt the same feeling. I could not concentrate on readings for a long time, because I spent too much time on surf the internet. I think it is a really terrible thing. To solve this problem, the best way is reading books more than using computers.

To me, I also agree that the author’s view. I glad that I was born in this generation. High-tech makes our life better and better meanwhile we must pay something for that. Internet, computer and whatever high-tech changes our so much. I always do my writing in computer but also inconcentrate for it. That makes me spend more time to finish it.

Yes, I agree with that, because more and more people depend on Google, anything you want just enter the Google and type the word which you are looking for, then, soon the information will show you. Also we can do anything with the Internet, e.g. copy the information we want, download the movie, music we like…etc. The more convenient how Internet is, the less we use our brains thinking. And that make our thinking become invariable. It also reveal on our reading and writing. Human’ brain is different from machine is that we can think creatively. So, we need to get the balance between thinking by ourselves and depend on Internet.
