Family Conflict

The story “Trapped” was described by the narrator, who thought he was mistreated by his older brother by using “his big fat muscles and lock him (the narrator) in the hall closet.”

Quarrels between family members are not unusual even they claim they get along well with one another. What is number one cause of conflict in your family? Generally speaking, Ho well did you get along with your brothers and sisters when you were growing up? If you are a single child in your family, did you get along well with your parents when you’re growing up?

    my brother and I get along well when we grew up.
    we always do negotiateing while the opinion is not the same. we accept each other’s faults and exchange opinions and happy things. share is really an important step to get along with others.
    because you share your thoughts, means the person that you shared with is pretty important to you. of course, stand on one’s side is also a crucial stuff. these methods make my family become better and better.

    I always had conflicts with my brother when we were children.He liked to trick me just for fun and therefore made me very angry.Afterwards,I saw his behavior as nothing and funny when he tried to stimulate me.As we grow up,we seldom conflict although we still have quarrels sometimes.

    When my brother and I were still little we had arguments almost everyday. We quarreled about who could control TV or computer. Sometimes we even fought for them. Since we all grow much maturer, we seldom have conflict now. Instead, we often tease our cousins together

    I often fight with my baby sister even we have already grown up. We argue something like houseworks, attitude, and many other little things. But we still love each other. I think we fight for making more understanding to each but we seldom hit each other.

    When I was little, I always had quarrels with my younger sister. Quite often, we argued about toys, candy or household chores. I remembered once my father brought a cute little doll to my sister, and we fought for it for a while. With rage, my father gave the doll to neither of us. However, as we grow up, these trivial things don’t matter at all. Now, my sister and I get along well. We respect each other and cherish each moment we spend on since we become busier than before and do have much time to get together.

    There’s a conflict between my family and me. My father is a self-centered person and he always asks his children to do somthing that is unreasonable. As for me, Im 18 already, so I can make decisions myself. For him, though, he always regards me as his little kid. When I get home, we seldom talk to each other because we have nothing in common.

    when I was a kid , I often have lots of quarrels with my older sister such as who can use the computer or watch TV. As time goes on, we gradully get along well with each other. In contrast, up to now, I still often quarrel with my little brother. I think if I would like to get along well with my brother like relating to my sister, it might be a long time for me to wait.

    I think there must had some conflict with sisters or brothers in everyone’s childhood.I do , too .
    When I was a little guy , I love watched some cartoon TV program , but my older brother love movies , so we started to fighting. Nowadays , I think it is so stupid when I recalled it.

    I love barbie doll so much when I was in elementary school . And my younger sister love it , too. I remember the reason why I got a new barbie doll is because I got a nice grade in the school so my mom bought me that , but my little sister was so jealous about that , so we fought.

    In the past, I must have conflicted with my younger brother. Sometimes, my younger brother and I fought each other because we argued that whether we chose this programs or another programs or not. I always lost to my younger brother because his body were stronger than mine. I always complained with my mother. I was so pity.

    I have a sisiter who is two years old younger then I.We do have many fights and quarrels during the process we grow up. Althouth we have those unpleasent time ,we still love each other very much.I think I get along with my parents quite well. I don’t have any surverious argument with them.
    Although I would conplain them alittle ,I just know that I love them as much as my sister does.

    When I was little. I always fight with my young brother. We fighted for some boring reason. When I grew up. I found fighted with my young brother don’t have any meaning. We both grew up. Don’t have to use this way. Now we get along, we will communication with each other.I think it is a good method to get along with him without fight.

    When I was a child, my brother and I always had conflicts. Even my mom can’t stop us fighting. We fought for everything, such as: TV control, the seat which is near the window in the car, the schoolwork, attention from our parents, etc. To sum up, we didn’t get along well when we grew up. However, things have change these years. We learn to tolerate each other and accept. Eventually, we get along well. We care about each other. I realize that nothing is more important than family members and nothing can destroy our relationship.

    I have two little borthers in my family.In my childhood, as an old brother, I always have to face with my young brithers’ trick. For example, I have to protect my toys and preserve my money in a secret base to prevent from their covet. Sometime we have some argue even fight with each other.     I always fighted with my sister in our childhood, actually I am a very sensitive person, so if my families blabber on me all the time, I will lose my patience and get a bad mood, but when I grow up gradually I realize one thing that their scolding is from their care of mind, so accept their love for you, perhaps conflict is one kind of the communication pattern.

    I have one older brother and one older sister. They usually treat me all right. When we were children, my older brother and sister liked to trick me for fun. I was angry at them at that time. Though we sometimes quarrel with each other, we still respect each other. Now, we all grow up and we also become more and more mature. So we seldom have conflicts.     Actually, i was a single child. i was almost lonely until my parents bought a dog. i grow up in my aunties house until i was ten. i was lonly becauce my parents need to work and their did’t have many time to stay with me. i think they are stranger. but after i study in taiwan it changed. now we’re friendly.

We used to play wrestling on the bed and play hide and seek in the park. I love my brothers.     Well, I don’t have any brother or sister, cause I am the only child. I have cousins but we never have any argue till now. When I was 13~15, I didn’t have any quarrel with my parents. Only sometimes I will have some unhappy small fight with my mom. The result were always “peace”. Because my personality is almost the same with my mom, we both are stubborn. Whan we had argue it were really made me tired. I don’t want to fight with her anymore. But who knows what will happen in the future?

    Growing up, both my brother and I got along very well. We played many games where we would like to scare one another. When we were in our preteen, we continued to play these games to a point where it resulted in me getting scared for life. Literally.

    Way back when, my brother had braces at the time. Whenever he would use the restroom I would be there, waiting for the right moment to ponce on him. Though what I did not know was that he was doing the same on the inside. As he came out both of us eagerly scared one another, but my brother accidentally hit the bridge of my nose with his braces. To this day, I still have the mark and the bump of the day my brother scared me with his braces.

    If I will get married in the future, I think that I think I will have children. Then, I will let my children’s age be apart some years. In this way, children won’t have many quarrels amng them just like my older sister and I. Although we can’t chat too much when we are young, we can chat almost everything after I went to college.
