In this unit we talked about joy and happiness. The word “happy” derives from “hap” which means an accident or occurrence, so to be happy is an accidental happening or only a chance. Happiness is short-lived and it could melt away as long as the circumstances disappears. However, joy is found within based on choices. It doesn’t depend on circumstances–the weather, the economic conditions, the test results, etc. A person can decide how happy s/he is.
On the other hand, the text in this unit is written in a poetic style. The following poem is a sample in which I use “rhyme” instead of “imagery” to address my topic.
