    14. I like kids learn something they are really interested in and combine with English. They will learn language very happily and gain lots from the class.

    15. I will change my voice because my vioce is not loud and wide enough. Sometimes kids will not pay attention to what am I saying.

    16. I need to learn how to express myself clearer and much more logical and rational.

17.I learn a lot from this class, I leared how to get along with children and know what they good at and where they are weak. And learned that teaching kids need much more patience and knowledge! Being a teacher, you have to keep learning and learning and learning.

13.Yes,i think it is good to work with a group. and we can share the experiences!

    14. I like to teaching voc and telling stories!

15.i would like to change the way i teach the sentences! it’s hard to catch their attention!

16.we like to be as friends position to teach ans play with them. and we just like friends, so we seldom angry when they act bad! we’ll say that we are upset now , and they will be good!!

17.I have to learn how to manage my EQ! Don’t get angry when they are annoying! Also i have to read more books!!

18.I think it is worth to do this! I learned how to teach, how to prepare the material!

  3. 1-5 ( 45444 )
    6-10 ( 45535 )

11(4)- If I found they could not understand what I said, I would try to slow down and try another way to let them understand it! (Depend on their expression and learning attitude….)

    12(4)

13.Not bad! But I still have to learn a lot from my teammates! They are very experienced st teaching!

    14. I prefer the second part-Warm up! After they finished those new words and sentences, we will let them play some games to be sure whether they get it or not!

    15. I don’t know! Maybe I could change my way of learning. I want to make them know that English is amazing!

    16. I like to get together with children, I guess. They are so innocent! When you get along well with them, they will tell you about our teaching is good or not! And through the teaching process, you will know yourself better than ever before!

    17. How to read their mind, I think. If one could know what they try to think about, one could teach them better and better.

    18. The English teaching experience is rewarding for me! Actually, this another way to know who you are! Maybe sometimes we can not govern them very well. However, when the majority of them could say it fluency, we were success! By the way, only one thing in this semester we really want to have, MONEY!!!! If we got enough fund for this class, we will be able to prepare more teaching materials!

13). I can’t say I worked very well but I tried my best to work in each class. I tried to spend my heart to each student and worked with my partners. team-work is very important to me.
14). When class concentrated on our teaching, asked us questions, and we laugh together, these were the special things I like. And once two students asked me to write down the songs for them, that time I was surprised and happy that they really tried to learn “something”. That was also special to me.
15). If there were more resource for us, for example, the support of teaching materials could make our teaching more completely.
16). In my teaching, I always want them to learn my topic easily. I used lots of interesting flash cards to attract them and asked them try to repeat after me. If they could use the word I teach in the game, that would be good. And I taught them not only a teacher but most like a sister. Not use too strict words to talk to them, that would cause more problems. Easygoing is the main character in my teaching.
17). The main thing have to change is the control of the class. If the control of the class can be better, it would be very good for us.
18). Of course it was rewarding! Every class gave me a lot of teaching experiences. I learned lots from students. They also taught me the changes of teaching style. Because of little failure, I could find the real problem we had. Improve by teaching is the best way to learn how to teach.

    11(3)–
12(4)–if i am teaching and the students are noisy, i will be quiet for a while. that is a good way to make them cool but sometimes they could be realize slowly what you do.
13–not bad. i do the job that is distributed. if someone absent, i will cover it.
14–playing games. students usually like to play games and it’s glad to see them involving it.
15–if i could, i would change my teaching style. hope it be more vivid.
16–it’s hard to say. should be free and easy.
17– how to deal with problems of students personality? every student has different personalities so it’s important to lean how to connect with them
18–definitely rewarding. it’s a good way to learn from them because you can experience how to be a teacher and how to improving the problems of teaching.

    13. Yes, I think all of our group members worked well and hard in the team-teaching situation, because we helped each other during teaching time, one of us was host, others were assistant every week, and we shared teaching experiences and feeling after class, then planned the next week’s class together.

    14. Actually I liked the whole semester teaching experiences, and I especially liked the part that children reacted, I liked this part because when I was teaching, children were concentrated on the class, they listened carefully and enjoyed, they laughed because of the interesting class, they tried hard during game time because they wanted to learn and win, they were really cute and childlike, this is why I loved teaching.

    15. If I could , I would like to keep order in class , because I found that children were easily lose their focus and patience on teacher and his/her teaching, I would like to keep the class in order if I could.

    16. I usually added game time during teaching, because I found that children will be motivated if there is a game during learning.

    17. I still need to learn a lot to become a better teacher, and I think what I still need to learn includes the teaching principles, how to keep the class in order, what teaching aids and games I can use during teaching to motivate the children, how I can meet the individual learning needs of the children, how I can involve everyone in my class, and how I can develop a good rapport with my class, etc.

    18. It is rewarding and satisfying, because I did really learn things like to play games during teaching can make the children be motivated, teaching with high intonation and movements will attract the children, using teaching aids will help teaching more smooth etc, I really loved teaching and was enjoyed the time playing with the children.

    12. Sometimes, it depends on children’s situation. At first, I use my passion to talk to them, but it didn’t work. So, I’ll yell at them if necessary, I know maybe they ‘ll hate me, but it’s really hard to control for so many different kinds of students, even I don’t understand them pretty much. But I still try my best way to do it.
    13. Yes. For the lessons, I prepare well for every time, and I really appreciate the chance I have, but I know it’s really a big difference from the cram school. Although I’ve been stayed in the cram school for nearly 1year, but at school, every student has different levels of English, but I still hope everyone can really learn more from the course. I still need to try how to control such a huge class
    14. Play games. I want to see the happiness at students’ faces; I hope they really learn from the course, no matter little or more.
    15. Well, so far I think that is fine. Maybe when we encounter the problem, we’ll think about how to resolve it.
16.I can be strict or kind. And actually, I ‘m proud of my pronunciation, and I have the experience in teaching.
    17. How to control a class, and how to help week students to learn.
18.I think so far so good. Although there still little trouble every time, but it’s still easy to solve it.

    14. the most part I like is seeing the children enloy in the class.help those in need is the best part during the teaching time.
    15. i think i need more imput for myself. give them more chance to practice writing ability.
    teacher?
    16. i think i took them as the same place. i won’t ignore those in need.
    17. prepare more different materials attracted children.
    18. Yes. it’s definitely an unforgetable teaching experience. it was the first time i tauch elementary school students in English. i won’t forget the way they express themself were so directly. it the feeling that so many grow-up can’t complete it . as TJ mentioned beforei” learn while i teach. i teach while i learn.”

    18. On the whole, do you find this English teaching experience rewarding or unsatisfying? Why or why not?

Yes, I think I have followed the principles of learning. We usually opened the topic at first. Then, we tried hard to make students use them in class. Finally, we used games or quizzes to make sure that they have learned what we taught that day.
    12.3
    13. Yes, we discussed what we wanted to teach every times and prepared it well before we taught students. After that, we reviewed what we taught to improve it next time.
    14. I like to play games. Because I think most students like to play games. When we played games, I found students had more energy in class and they thought it’s interesting.
    15. I think we can try to teach students sentences and make them practice in class next semester. Because this semester we focused on words, I think we can add some sentences next semester.
    16. I think usually I’m kind to students. However, if they make a lot of noises, I lost my temper and try to say loudly.
    17. I think I have a lot of things to learn to become a good teacher. Because students are all different, I need to find out what they really want.
    18. I think it’s rewarding. This is a good experience because we need to find informations before we teach students. I feel I make progress steps by steps.

Evaluate yourself using the following five-point scale:
    1) unsatisfactory 2) below average 3) average 4) above average 5) outstanding
(4)1. I have enough energy in class.
(5)2. I am dependable—I get my planning done on schedule, etc.
    (4)3. I radiate enthusiasm.
(5)4. I know my subject matter.
(3)5. I am able to get it across.
(3)6. I use various techniques to discover if the children have accomplished the goal.
(3)7. I use teaching aids of various kinds to reteach if necessary.
(4)8. I meet the individual learning needs of the children.
(3)9. I am able to involve everyone in my class.
(4)10.I am developing a good rapport with my class.
(4)11.I am aware of the principles of learning as they function in the teaching-learning situation. (describe a situation)
(4)12.I am able to maintain classroom control. (elaborate)

    13. Do you think you worked well in a team-teaching situation this semester?
Yes, mostly. And through team-teaching, I noticed that different teachers have different ways of teaching, and they all have their strengths and weakness on teaching children. Some are perfect for children learning but some are just fine. But here I think practice makes perfect, when there is a will there will be a way. Therefore, I think I still have a lot of room for improvement, and I will keep practicing.

    14. What do you especially like?
I like to teach reading and playing games with them. When they cooperate with me well, I feel they all like angels and get a sense of achievement.

    15. What would you change if you could?
Be more patient and pay more attention on average students. Because sometimes, I may spend too much time on those outstanding or slow learning students. Therefore I may forget what I should really focus.

    16. What strong points characterize your teaching?
Students do not feel there is a distance between their teacher and themselves, everyone dare to raise their hands asking me questions. In order words, I think they are not afraid of me, they think the teacher is kind and cool to them. They do not feel any pressure at all.

    17. What do you need to learn to become a better teacher?
I need to have more experience for sure and also learn to speak like young child. Because sometimes I may not express myself clear, therefore, students are confused, due to I talk to them like a grown up.

    18. On the whole, do you find this English teaching experience rewarding or unsatisfying? Why or why not?
It is definitely rewarding, because just like I said before, through this course, I learned how to team-work together, how to teach and also learned some other teaching skills……etc. But here the most important thing is I have a great fun when I teach these kids.

15.the class time. ha! just kidding!! i think i’ll say that maybe U can give us more instruction or a whole concept before we design our teaching programs. for example, set a goal for us to accomplish before the semester ends.
16.i think i know better how to please children.
    17.patience.
18.well, it’s really great to meet these kids and i don’t see myself as their teacher but a big friend. so, generally speaking, i enjoyed this class.
