Appealing and successful descriptive writing calls for a cute observation. In Akers’ essay, she spots a frog fron in a bathroom and then she starts to draws on the relationship between the tiny frog and the surroundings. Setting off typographically, Akers provides who, where, what , and when in the first ten paragraphs, leaving how the frog will fare for the rest of the essay. She also pinpoints some “contrasts” or “unbalance”, i.e. “I wasn’t expecting to find a frog in a Park Service bathroom,” We may find this kind of contrast like Akers’. Drawing on the contrast, work it into a descriptive paragraph or essay.

In a library, look for someone who is nervous or loud.
When I was a sinor high school student, I went to the library every day because I had to prepare my examination. However, whenever I went to the library, I can always meet two different situations. One is slience which all of the people in the library concentrate on their study. The other one is that there are someone who talked to each otherand keep their voice loudly. If I met someone talked, it would really annoyed me, and made me get crazy. At that moment, I would stop their talking with bad mood and told them that they really bothered me. As a result, I got an idea that it must have the contrasts in the library, and you have to try your best to balance such a situation.

Nowadays, the prosperity are depressed and become worse gradually but the rich are still rich and have luxurious lifes. On the other hand, there are more and more poor people emerge out of the society and many people in the middle class lose their jobs and descend to lower level. The rich can spend money extravagantly but the poor can’t live well even “live”. I think that is the contrast in the life, between the rich and the poor.

i think now in this society, the poor and the rich are the stronggest contrast. people who is rich will never imagine how terrible for living in the poor life. they only care about how to get more brand new bag or cool car. the poor, have to work very hard, but it seems like no matter how they work, they are still poor. cause they have to pay a lot of bills in their life. i think those politicians should stop fighting to each other. they should care more about those poor people, find the way to help them.

We know that when winter is coming, we must wear sweaters、scarves and gloves to warm ourselves, even we would like to have some hot coffee or tea to drink, that would be the warmest thing in winter. However, there are still some people love eating ice cream in cold weather! I can’t imagine that I am eating ice cream in winter! Because I am afraid of the frigid weather such as winter, so that when I see those people who are eating ice cream, I will think of them as crazy guys. Don’t you think it’s crazy to eat ice cream in winter?

No matter a place, a song or any kinds of food, moveis, and a person. I mean everybody must have the different feelings. That’s what I want to say about “Life in Contrast.” People would praise one place nice, on the other hand, there must someone say, ” I feel very bad~~ .” I think that’s one of the reasons that we have arguments.

I think there are a big contrast between the government and the public. The government are rich and most of the public are poor. The government always say they will do everything to improve economy crisis. According to the recent survey, the situation is not changed. The public still poor or even worse. The government still rich or even better. This is a big and serious contrast in today’s society.

A coffee maker has allergy to perfume.
A coffee shop near ma home, there is a coffee maker. He tells me that he is allergic to perfume, because he smells the scent of my perfume. Before I go out, I perfumed myself. My friend even doesn’t feel the smell of my perfume. I think that is quite strange. As a coffee maker, he can tell the different coffee beans by small and drink. I think his nose must be sensitive to all kinds of things with odor. Actually, when he smells the perfume, he will have a running and stuffy nose, sometimes his eyes also feel uncomfortable. These symptoms make him can’t feel any odor. He says “every time I meet customer who is wearing perfume, I always making coffee as soon as I can, and then walk out of the store.”

When I was in junior high, I felt the grades made the biggest contrast. Because everything were accorded to the grades which you got higher or deeper in the school, for example, the classes would be clasified and the teachers would have more passion if he/she tought in a good class. That was unfair and I did not agree the kind of treating. Now, I got the partime-job; and I knew that each student had the chance to be better on the grades; also, there was no one could deprived the opportunities.

In Taiwan, people prefer to thin. I have receive a e-mail about it! The different treatment between “Fatty girl” and “Skinny girl”. If you are a skinny girl, when you fall down, people will go to help you, In the other hand, if you are fatty girl, people will laugh at you, and go away. Another example, if you like pinky thing, when you are a skinny girl, people will think, Wow! you are so cute, however, when you are a fatty girl, people will think, “Disgusting!” I feel it was very fun, but it’s reality!

Recently, there are many department stores having discount at their anniversary. I and my friends are certainly going shopping to but stuff. When I look around, sellers are must hospitable to welcome you, and recommending things to you. They look like having hot mind. However, I think they just love our money buying their goods. So they will treat you very well, say something good in order to making you happy and you will buy it. Their saying is different between their minds. It is the contrasts but faith.

I think the contrast between richness and poverty is an issue that couldn’t be more obvious. I still remember the newspaper title what I have read this morning- “the children whom their family have lower income that couldn’t afford them to go to the cram school are getting the lower scores on their high school enterance exam”. Due to the revolution of education made by some freak, irresponsible and had sent all their children to study abroad scholars, our education system had already failed. Now even you spend most of your time on studying, it’s not enough! You have to go to the cram school to catch up on what the teachers didn’t teach you in school. And that really makes our country pathetic.

I also think the contrast between richness and poorness is the most obvious one in the world. Nowadays many people do not have food to eat but there are still some people spend their money on the famous brands. What’s the difference? The difference is why they are in the same world but they have to own different fates. It is not fair!!!

I’ve saw a news about the contrast between the rich and the poor.
In Taipei, the Xin Yi area(信義區)always gather so many rich people, or high-class mansions, people there live in a luxury life, driving nice cars, wearing expensive clothes and jewels; however, more people in this society live in a terribly life. They can’t find their next meal, they can’t offer their kids a normal life, so they can’t get rid of the fortune of being poor.
Whenever I saw this kind of news, I feel so sad and unfair, but even though the government and everyone realizes the fact is unfair, they still unable to change it.
This is the contrast I found in my life -
Nowadays, the rich are become more rich, and the poor will never become berrer. That’s life in contrast. Now the whole world is in the great depression, everyone are worry about jobs and money problems, but there are still some people living a luxury life. Although we can not change this situation, but we still have to hope everything can become better soon.

I think the life in contrast is between the rich and the poor. With the unemployment rates increasing, more and more people lose their jobs, and the social problems emerge. For instance, a father lose his job, to make ends meet and support his children, he has to make money, maybe finally he decide to steal. The worst of all, he decide to commit suicide. The rich get more and more rich, they can live in a luxurious way; however, the poor get more and more poor, or even worse.

Thousands years ago life contrast exist in the world. No matter the rich or the poor, we all are living in the same world. To me, life contrast it does not really matter with how luxury limousine you own or how mega mansion are you living in. It is the love how you show to the world. There has a largest contrast in the world between us. If everyone has love, life contrast could dismiss in this world, because people stop comparing each other, stop the war, stop harming our earth, start being peace with each other.
