“Should college students have part-time jobs?” This topic has been hotly discussed for many years. Some strongly recommend that college students work part time in order to acquire work experience before they actually enter the job market. The job they’ve taken would give them a competitive edge over those who have no practical experience. However some are cautious that part-time work would distract students from concentrating on their school work. If the Students aren’t able to juggle with both work and school well, they might lose them both. What do you think of this issue?

Being a student ,it has an important responsibility which pass all courses basically. If a student could pass all courses, she could go to have a part-time job. Having a part- time job could help you to find your future if you still doesn’t know which job you want to do. You could have some directions according to your part-time job experience, In addition, if you want to go for business, you could have a part time job at the companty. Perhaps, you would know this position which suit you or not. If it doesn’t suit for you, you could go to find the other one early. To be honest, more part-time part jobs could make you more competitve than who doesn’t have any other jobs. You could get more communication skills. Even so, I have to say it again. You must make your courses all pass that you would be qualified to find a part-time job.

I think that it’s better to have a part-time job when you are a university student. First, you can learn something from your job which teachers can’t teach you at school. For example, facing to customers, observing what they want, and training immediate reaction. Second, part-time job can let you close to the real society early. Because after graduating, you will not be protected by school and will find that society is not like what you think before. You can find a way to suit it early. At last, part-time jobs can let you earn money by your own. You don’t have to ask your parents for money. It’s a good thing for being independent.
Although I think it’s good for college students to have part-time jobs, they still have to take care of their studying or what I am saying before just down the drain. -
First, I want to explain what the meaning of student to me. I think “student” means a person during a time that focus on learning. Therefore, no matter what student do, they are learning. Coming back to this topic, should college student have a part-time job? My answer would be” why not? “
I suggest all college students should have apart-time job. Although many parents would doubt that” could students study well when they have part-time jobs?” However, I think being a college student should not only focus on study books. I think student can also leaning different things when they have a part-time job. Take me as an example. I think after having a part-time job, I know earn money is not easy but actually it’s really hard! Therefore, I would not ask my parents for money as possible as I could. After working I think I would show sympathy with my parents.

Most people would agree that money is important. If we have it we can buy the things we want. However, it can be difficult to earn money while in school. One option is to take a part-time job. There are some advantages to having a job. First, we can learn new skills such as cooking, cleaning and how to deal with customers and students. Second, we can learn the value of money through direct experience. We will soon realize that it is not easy to come by and should be spent carefully. In addition, we can learn time management. Having to balance work and study will force us to become more organized. Finally, we can learn about responsibility, we will have to get to work on time and complete the tasks that are assigned to us.
In short, having a part-time job is a great idea, but we have to be careful. We must not neglect our studies. If we can find a balance between work and school, it could really pay off. -
Almost all college students are above 18 and can already work their own families. There are many reasons why students would like to have a job. First, some of them are from a poor family and they don’t want to be burdened with school expenses and families. According to this reason, I think college students should have a part-time job. They can not only earn money but also learn the experience from work. Take myself for example. I was a shy and negative person before I had a part-time job. To change myself and to earn some money for shopping, I found a part-time job near my home on my sophomore’s summer vacation. After working there for about 5 months, I become more positive and know how to communicate with customers better. For me, I support that college students have a part-time job. There are two reasons why I support it. First, more and more students have applied for student loans. Students should concentrate on their study and do their best in tests. Take my friend for example. She has a part time job to earn money and to support her living expenses. Her workig hours are usually after school, from six p.m. till eleven p.m.. After work, she has to do homework or burn the midnight oil. She usually gets up late so she starts to skip the classes. Therefore, I think students should take responsibilities for their study unless they have to earn money to support their life.

Some parents believe that it’s good for college students to have a part-time job. In my opinions, I agree with this point, too. As a college student, studying is not the most important thing. Lots of things out of books are worthy to learn. Before entering the job market, students who have part-time jobs can accumulate their job experience. They can learn how to interact with different knids of people. Take myself for example. I have a part-time job at an English language scgool. My work includes checking students’ homework, teaching them some grammar and doing telephone teaching. In here, I learn how to interact with my boss, my colleges, my foreign teachers, children’s parents and even the children. Until I get along with them, I would really know what interaction is. Also, you have to spend more time understanding them. Another thing which I learn is responsible for myself. In the beginning, nobody tells me how to do well. I just keep trying again and again. During the process, I realize that responsibility is important. I consider these two points are essential for students. One day, they may enter the job market. Moreover, there is one thing I want to remind students not to let yourself fail in any course when you get a part-time job. Be responsible for your studying, too.

Because of the current financial society, more and more college students decide to have a part-time job during their schooldays. The reasons may be complicated for every one, but I think the three main reasons are, to earn some extra money in order to cover daily expenses, to pay for the tuition fee, and to acquire the work experience.
Among these three reasons, college students may find a part-time job, I agree with having a part-time job for a college student. Although someone who has a part-time job may not have free time to go shopping and have fun. However I think to increase the work experience before getting into the society is more valuable. I am not an outgoing girl; my mom encourages me to interact with various people by part-time job.
Maybe oppose party may think students should pay full attention to study, and should not to waste time on working. However, there would no chance to accumulate the work experience without no having part-time job. People say although to keep the course the part-time is quiet hard, but if someone can handle two thing perfectly, he will handle more difficult task on the other days. -
