All of us have been living with our own family for at least twenty years, so at times we’re quite aware of the quirks some of the members have that they perhaps have never noticed about. We can also tell the differences between ourselves and other family members. Write one or two paragraphs in which you compare your father and mother or yourself to someone else in your family.

Talking my personality, I’m mild and not a introvert girl. If strangers talk to me, I’ll be shy to say or admonish my mind. All of this are pass down by my father. He seldom talk to me automatically, but I know he cares about me very much. Contrast to my older sister, she is very extrovert and easygoing which is unlike my father and me. She likes to wander street, eat some delicious food, and chat with her friends. She is so bright that I hope I can be the person like her. Sometimes we have quarrels but I still love them because we are family.

I want to compare my brother and me. If you know my brother and me, you can easy to find many different ways between us. First, our personalities were totally opposite. Whenever we go back to our grandparents’ home; I would like to chat with my relatives, but he just stay aside and watching television. When the dinner time is coming, my mother would ask us what we wanted to eat. I would say many dishes that I want to eat. My brother would just say “whatever!” He didn’t like to give opinions. Whenever met some problems; I would be very nervous and try to solve the problems at once, but my brother would really calm. He plans anything before he does. He would think a lot and try to make fewer mistakes. I feel I need to learn this behavior as him. Although we both are so many different, we still love each other.

Although we are in a family, we also have different family. Maybe it causes by the enviorment or watched different TV show. Compared to my personality with my brother, he keeps calm down when he is in difficulities.One of the advantage is that he won’t feel nervous. I always have positive attitude in everything even uncertain things. I am afraid that I don’t have part-time job abd also worry about all homework which I didn’t do. When I decide to do something , I would do my utmost. Of course, I usually meet in difficulities, I would depend on my will. As long as I have strongly will, I believe that I could arrive in my goal. In contrast, my brother seldom worries about something. He makes everything natural.Even so,we are still a family. However,we have different life goals.

There are several similarities between my parents; for example, they are not quiet tall and they all have a plump figure. Also, both of them like eating, sleeping, and gossiping. Besides, these similarities they are still two separate individuals. My father is an optimistic, outgoing man. No matter what kind of situations is, he always faces the challenge and overcome it. On the contrary, my mother is a serious and taciturn woman. She uses the strictest attitude to deal with the difficulties.
What’s more, I think she needs to participate in some activities to entertain her life. Although, there are many differences between my parents, I think as long as they can communicate with each other, their life will be in harmony and happiness. -
My father and are mother are very honest people. Both of them always help other if they can, and I they never do some illegal things. What they always teach my brother and me is that we that we must obey the law everywhere. Speaking of their personality, both of them are conservative. They still keep some traditional opinions in this mordent society. For instance, they always “your skirt is too short!” to me even thought my skirt is not short at all. Another example is they believe the law can protect the citizens of our nation, and they oppose abolish capital punishment; the reason is they believe some evil criminals should pay for what they did. However, they are not always have the same similarities. My mother finfish everything quickly with high efficiency, but my father doesn’t. he always finished what he think it is needed to finish quickly with high efficiency. For example, before we travel to aboard, my mother can prepare all every kinds of stuffs she need approximately in one hour, but my father have to use many hours to prepare his baggage.

Both of my parents love their children very much. They always take care of us carefully and are concerned about whether we have enough food and wear enough clothes warmly or not. Every time, if they want to make a decision, they will take children’ feelings and thoughts in advance. Respecting our conceptions is very important into account to me. Although my father and my mother have some similar traits, they also have totally different concepts of education and personalities. I would talk about my mother first. She is a strict person. She hopes that her children can be a successful person in our career. Therefore, she would ask us to do anything diligently and are including our grades in school. She thinks that we are students, so we have to play this role well because children don’t want to work and we spend our time studying hard. That’s the important thing for us. In contrast, my father believes that he doesn’t really care about children’ grades which are good or bad. He thinks the important one is that we have the good personality but we still have a standard on our school homework. Although my parents use different ways, they focus on one thing is that we can be better and better.

A few years ago, when the Chinese year was coming, our family and relatives will got together to have dinner, but children seldom talked with adults unless these elders talked to us actively. But, this situation has changed a lot after all of us enter universities and senior high to know how to speak to other people. We become much more extroverted and start to talk with these adults. These year, the family reunion become more joyous and full of laughter. I think this change is a good thing to make our family become more and more harmonious.

I think my mother and my father are totally different. They have different personalities, hobbies, favorites and so on. My father is a humorous person. Sometimes, he likes to tell jokes to us when we eat dinner. In his leisure time, he always spends few hours practing singing Japanese songs. He loves to sing, especially Taiwanese songs. And he believes singing Japanese songs is cool and interesting.
Conversely, my mother doesn’t think that’s interesting. She prefers reading books to singing songs. She loves to read books which are about positive attitudes in her leisure time. If she reads some good books, she may share them with me. My mother is an enlightening person. She supports me to do anything what I want to do. Each time I confront frustration and feel depressed, she would encourage me and tell me something useful. She is really a nice mother that I can chat and share things at will. Although my parents have different personalities, hobbies and favorites, both of them are my lovers!

My mother is quiet different from my father in many aspects. Take the personality for example. My mother is extrovert and talkative since she was a child; however my father is introvert and he prefer s to stay at home rather than go outside on holidays, but my father is tired of trying things he did not meet before. Be learning things I know that my mother is like an explorer but my father is like a fogey.
Notwithstanding they are so different in many aspects, they have one common habit that is climbing. If they do not have to work on Sundays, they always ride the bicycle to go climbing. Arriving at the top of the mountain, they take the chairs out and have a tea and immerse themselves in this atmosphere.
In my home, my Mom plays the role outside. Though my father has a job, most housework is done by him. Maybe this huge difference makes their complementation and makes the happy family. -
My parents are totally different in character. It is weird that they get along with each other, even get married.
My mother, who is an extroverted woman, likes to make friends and talk with people. She loves to go shopping, tasting delicious food and chatting with her friends or family frequently. Also, my mother educated her children seriously. If I make a big mistake, she must rebuke me greatly even give me punishments.
Compared with my father, who is a introverted man, likes to spend his leisure time doing entertainment at home. Planting seeds is my father’s interest; he adores taking care of the plants. Sometimes, he can spend all day building his garden. I think he seems to be possessed. On the other hand, my father does not punish but exhort his children when they make the mistakes.
My parents are not quite similar on many sites, but they deal with each other harmonious. Perhaps, they could be a good couple just because they mutually understand and accommodate each other’s advantages and disadvantages.

The differences of my parents are their appearances, ways of educating children and personalities. My father enjoys jogging every weekend. While my mother, she likes to be couch potato when she is off work. Through their life style, you can imagine that my mother is fatter and unhealthier than my father. Their personality traits reflect the way they educate us. My mom is a sensitive woman who cares about everything related to us including our wealth and academic work. Whenever there is a symptom of sickness such as sneezes and sore throats, my mom is the one who gives us a hot ginger tea. She notices our efforts on study and thus she does not set many standards of our grades. While my father who pays our education fee tend to asked us to have higher academic performances so that we can have more opportunities to get a good job. He always looks into the distances and has many preparations for future rather than look into the present as my mom does. They only have one common that is enjoy cook desserts such as chocolate cake and cheese cake when they are in good moods.

Though she is in her early fifties, she still looks like in her thirties. My dad, kind of a conservative person who is hard to accept youth culture that is popular with young people. So sometimes I have a hard time to persuade him to do what I want to do.
It seems that my parents are two individuals and have different personality traits, but their love for the home for my grandfather and my sister and I are the same. Sometimes it is said that the very two different kinds of persons would attract each other. From time to time they would have various opinions about something or even have a quarrel over something. They would compromise eventually. What is same is. My dad will be the first one to say “sorry”. -
I always ask my parents why they can be together for almost 25 years. The reason why I ask this is the personalities of them are different. My dad is a honest and quiet person and he often has many opinions in his mind but would not reveal. Compared with my dad, my mom is outgoing, optimistic, talkative and she would speak out directly when making choices. My mom would chat with me and tell me many noticeable things. To tell the truth, the things my mom told me are from my dad. Maybe it’s the culture that influence my dad should be strict, less outgoing. I always joke my dad is my mom’s son because my mom is so responsible that she can take care of many things of my dad and my family.
The tradition that man is the most respectable person of family contradicts at my home. Although they have different traits, they have something alike. They like to eat delicious food, they go out together, they love hiking, etc. I think they are the models to me in the future. -
There are several similarities between my parents; for example. They are not tall and their skins are also white. That is heredity from my grandmother. Both of parents also played important roles in family. Most of impressions toward father is harsh and bossy, mother is tender and take care of all the children in daily life, even including housework and cooking. Although I am different from others, I came from single parent family; my brother played a role in family just like my father. There is still another similarity between mother and brother. Both of them loved me so much. They always try to do their best to take care of me, just like we always had a special time for family, find a special restaurant and share different special experiences about whole weekend that is a great opportunity to share all the moods with family members. When it comes to differentiate, I think is each of one has totally different personalities.

Based on my parents sex and personality, they treated and educated my brothers and I in different ways. My parents told my brothers that they did not cry out even if they were injured because they should learn to be masculine and they have to number one in education or other aspects. But, I am the only daughter in my family so my parents loved me dearly. My father did not ask me like my brothers and he never hit me. Therefore, I had freedom to do what I want to do. However, my mother was against my father. She thought that I should get number one like my brothers. And, every time I did wrong things, she would hit me.

The most important member in my family, one is my father, and the other is my mother. They support everything we need and sacrifice they self on everything.
My dad is a businessman, for his jobs need. He is a very talkative person. He likes to interact with others and chat with them. He likes to make new friends and think it is important, because it is useful and helpful for his business. He is a talkative person outside but is totally different at home.
My mom, the real host of this family, is the one who deal with everything. She likes to chat, too. However, the most different is that she talks depending on the situation. For example, when whole family gather together, she always the one who talks much and makes everyone laughed. However, when she goes out with my father she becomes very differently, because she wants give the chance for my father to talk to others and she just listens.
My dad a hard worker, so he spends lots of time on his work and it means we have not too much time gathered together. Most of the time I have problem the person I think is my mother because she always gives me useful suggestion, though our opinion is different sometime.
My parents have different function and play different role for this family, however the most important thing is they love this family so no matter how hard it is. They still will keep doing this. -
