Walking With Him Until I Am Not
Many choices and decisions we make every day rely on comparison and contrast: “Should I ride to school?” “Which restaurant shall I go to?” “Should I go out with my friends tonight?” No matter what you select, you need to make a fair judgment that is based on equal standing.
The writing topic this week is “A man or a woman?” If you could choose to be a man or a woman, what would you choose and why?
If I have an opportunity to choose, I would choose to be a woman again, Being a woman is more advantages than being a man, First of all, woman wouldn’t be forced to be a solider. It is an painful thing for me. In additon, compared to a men, woman really good at dressing up. Although men could make himself fashion, they also lose to woman. I like to be a girl because I don’t want to affore more high pressure. To be a man,you have to take care of a home including all expeditures and responsibility, I just want to be a housewife. I want to do housework, take care of child and prepare food to my husband. That is the reason why I want to be a woman.
I would be a female if I were given a second life. I was dying to be a male before, because our traditional culture perfers men to women. People thought men presentes power and could be a pillar of family; besides, men also is considered the image of bringing heirs to maintain and continue the family tree. This concept deeply affected me and made me feel that being a woman was ashamed and worthless. But now, I abandon this ridiculous idea after becoming more mature. This is a modern society is equal regardless of gender. Women become indepent and tough. No matter how difficult the goal is, they can achieve it like men if they try hard, and sometimes they even can do better than men, such as nurse, flight attendent, and poblic relations lady. Because women is attentive, with wisdom, and careful than men. That is why I am proud of being a female now.
I would be a female if I were given a second life. I was dying to be a male before because our traditional culture prefers men to women. I would be a woman in my second life because I think there are more challenges of being a woman than being a man such as having babies. And stereotypes of men are usually rude, careless and childish. I do not want to be such as a man above mentioned. Besides, being a woman is always being protected.
If I were given a second life I would be a male. There are some reasons that I want to be a male. First, male do not spend extra money on female hygienic stuff, but women do. Second, males do not suffer from the process of pregnancy. On the contrary, women must stand for about ten months pain for having a baby. Third, males are not necessary to go on a diet to keep them in shape. However, females always try their best to lose weight the spend money on cosmetic fee to be more attractive as well.
Furthermore, the men’s clothes are simple; they do not need to worry about what they are going to wear every morning. Because of these reasons I would be a male.
I would be a female if I were given a second life. I think there are more advantages for a female than a male. First, there are more clothes for females. For example, there is a 2 year-old boy living with me and he always asks me, “why my girl classmates wear skirts and have beautiful hair styles, but I can’t?” In fact, I don’t know the answer. However, it’s the stereotype of society that males can only wear pants with short hair. If males do oppositely, many people would think them as jerks. Second, when children grow older, boys can only play robots and games which help them become masculine. On the contrast, girls can play any types of games. If girls play with dolls, they would be described as soft girls. If girls play with robots, they would be described as successful businesswomen in the future. However, boys playing with dolls would be called sissy. Third, after entering into adulthood, males will ask to be more responsible, to support their families and pass down to future generation. Compared with females, they can feel babies in their bodies. This is males couldn’t realize. This is amazing process that males can never feel that. According to those benefits, I would choose to be a female.
I would be a male if I were given a second life. Physically, male would have a stronger body figure that can do lots of things. So we can take lots of responsibilities. One significant point is that males won’t have the period. In that case we can save some problems. Furthermore, males can wear casually than females. Males could even undress the upper body, but females might have to worry if their dressing were “too exposed”. Mentally, males have a free spirit, but when it comes to having a family or a better job, the whole society would say it is men that have to take the responsibility. I guess that is the most difficult task for males. However, I still want to be a male if I have a second life.
A male have a lot of advantages, such as good sports skills, controlling more power, possessing more freedoms. The men have good physical strength because of his structure of body. Therefore, most males are innate athletes. However, a female’s body structure is very different from a male’s and that’s the reason why the female’s sports skills are limited. Compared with most company, many executives are male. Although we always said that gender isn’t important and we have to focus on their abilities. Nevertheless, it is seldom to see females being an executive. Not last but the least, mothers would set the time when girls have to go home because she would worry about their safety. It is different from male. Parents always allow male to go home later. They won’t worry about males’ safety. In a nutshell, being a male would a good choice better than a female if we were given a second life.
If I got a second chance to choose to be a woman or a man. The answer definitely is “I want to be a woman”. Besides the menstrual period, I think there are a lot of advantages to be a woman. In our thinking, being a woman can be sensitive, capricious and favored. Women’s thingking can be attentive, they think a lot about the thigns they care. However, this carefulness can be another problem to women. They might be terribly suspicious to everything, espaecially when they in love. It might makes the man who love this woman think her is unreasonable. Expect that, I think I still want to be a woman if I got one more chance.

Besides these two advantages, I think it’s more comfortable to be a woman. Because of our traditional stereotype, the people would want to make much of man. They want man to earn a lot of money, have a successful job, or should a big responsibility for family. I think if I would be a man that has so much pressure and I won’t be happy in my life. Although be a woman would still has many problems such as should wear bar every day. i think I was very happy to be a woman again!
Being a male, I do not need to worry about aging problems. Most females care about their wrinkles as they become older. The only way to solve their skin problems is spending money in buying cosmetic products which are extremely expensive. As a man, exercise is the most effective and cheapest way to slow down my aging. Also, the expenses spending on male’s clothes will be lower than female’s. As I go out, typical outfits for man are suit or leisure clothes. However, women always spend many hours dressing up because they have all kinds of clothes to choose from. The most important point is that I do not need to be pregnant, which is a kind of torture for women. “The pain of give birth a baby is no one can imagine.” said by my mother.
