Committed Love

Prehaps out of curiosity, loneliness, or fear, Psyche attempted to get a glimpse of her invisible husband despite the fact that Cupid told her not to do so. Psyche therefore suffered the consequence of losing her husband temporarily. In order to win Cupid back and his trust, Psyche herself went to Venus and “begged forgiveness and offered to do penance so she could see Cupid again.” Psyche finally won Cupid’s heart back, yet she had to go through a series of trials and tribulations.

If you were Psyche, would you be like her who tried everything possible to see Cupid? Do you think Psyche was wrong in an attempt to see her invisible husband by lighting a lamp? Why or why not? If you were Cupid, would you respond like him who “fled without a word at the sight of the mistrust?” Would you forgive the person who has broken the promise who made to you? Why or why not? In the movie, we heard Cupid say to Psyche, “I thought you could see me with your heart?” Can we really see a person with our own heart? How?

    If I were Psyche,I would try everything possible to see Cupid because I wanted to win Cupid’s trust back and that was so-called”true love”.I don’t think that Psyche was wrong in attempt to see her invisible husband by lighting a lamp.Because all she wants to do is beg forgiveness.She tries her best to go through all the tribulations,isn’t it impressive?If I were Cupid,I wouldn’t disappear without telling anything,because it would really hurt someone’s heart and feeling.Although Psyche broke down our promise to make me misunderstand her,I would like to listen to her explaination afterwards,then I decided to forgive her and try to trust her again through the time.There is nothing to be unforgiven,and what we do is let the time to make up the mistakes.We can’t really see our own heart,but we can feel it and make it show up in our life or action.

    If i were Psyche, i think i would like her to try everything possible to see Cupid. Because the true love is not easy to own. Nowadays, many people just chase good-looking person and forget the importance of true heart.
    I don’t think Psyche was wrong. Everyone has desire and curiosity. We want to see more, and get more.
    If i were Cupid, i would flee without a word just like him. Because i hate the people who has broken the promise who made to me. I would think he or she is a liar. But in this situation, i would forgive Psyche. Because i think Psyche loved Cupid very much so did he!
    I think we can really see a person with our heart. Though there have many villians in the world. I think if we have true heart, we still could flow across each other with heart!

    If I were psyche, I thought that I would try to see Cupid just as her. Actually, I admit that I am a person with the curiosity. In fact, I don’t think psyche is wrong, although she breaks the promise. However, curiosity kills cats, isn’t it? It will be very cruel, if we don’t know what our husband looks like, right? Therefore, I agree to the psyche’s behavior. By the contrast, if I were Cupid and, I won’t disappear without a word. Due to truly “love” her, I will believe her, listening to her explain and forgive her. Finally, Cupid thinks that psyche could see him with her heart. In my opinion, I don’t think we can see other people in our heart. Sometimes we will image somebody’s appearance, but it’s always not what we think. It’s very hard to cheat our mind. Maybe, because Cupid is a god, he won’t feel what we think. And Cupid may be very ego, so he can’t understand psyche.

    If I were Psyche, I would try to see him because he is my husband.
    I think that is not wrong. Since he is her husband, she can see him. But, maybe she can ask him first.
    I won’t do the same thing just like Cupid did. A man shouldn’t do that thing, he should take the responsibility. He should talk instead of disappearance.
    If she apologizes to what she done, I will forgive her. Or, maybe after a long time, I will forgive her because I know that she knows that she made a mistake.
    Yes. We can know each other by communicating with true heart. Treat other people with a real heart instead of a fake heart. We just do everything with a innocent way.

    It’s not easy to see a person with your heart. Especially, that person is an invisible god. However, I think if you really love someone, you would accept him no matter who he is. If Cupid treat Psyche very well, I think she would feel it. So, if I were Psyche, I wouldn’t attempt to see Cupid positively. I believe one day Cupid would let me to see him. But, I don’t think Psyche attempt to see Cupid was wrong because she didn’t have the sense of security of Cupid’s love. No wonder she would be instigated by her sisters. If Cupid can give Psyche a reassuring promise, I think she would believe him whatever he says.
    If i were Cupid, i wouldn’t flee without a word just like him because considering human’s curiosity is the pretty important thing I have to think of when I decided to marry a human as my wife.
    If the person who broken the promise really have some ineffable difficulties, I believe I could forgive him.
    If he is a person in good faith, you can see him with your heart. If you really trust in someone wholeheartedly, you could see him by genuineness.

    An invisible husband? If I were Psyche, I’m sure I would do my best to see my so-called husband. Even if I could only “glimpse” a second, I still think it’s worthy. Just like the article that teacher wrote says because of curiosity, loneliness, and fear,trying possible to see Cupid is reasonable. It’s unfair to blame Psyche attemping to see Cupid by lighting a lamp, since Psyche must eagered to know how her husband looks like. And if I were Cupid, I wouldn’t leave without saying any words. This manner isn’t that courteous to others and I will definately hurt people if I do like this. If someone has broken the promise to me, I would like to hear the reasons from him or her. Supposing the reason is proper, I might forgive him or her and give him or her another chance. In my opinon, I think we can see a person with our own heart . First, we can understand people fully. And than, we will see them with our own heart.

    If I were Psyche, I will be curious about husband’s appearance but most of all, I will keep promise certainly. In the story, I think that Psyche was wrong in an attempt to see her husband because the couple must trust each other. If they don’t trust each other, the marriage will be in a mess.
    In my opinion, I would not forgive the person who has broken the promise to me because I am a person who is very care about promise. I consider a promise a person’s credit, without it, the person will be nothing.
    Actually, I think that seeing people with heart is a kind of difficult because people care about both the appearance and the personality. We can watch the person’s behavior to know if the person is good or bad.

    I think it’s normal that Psyche wants to see Cupid. People will curious about anything they love. That’s why people often search on the Internet to know the latest information of anything they love. If I were Psyche; of course, I would avoid seeing him because it’s our contract and it’s important to keep the promises. However, it’s hard to control the passion. So, I think I might do what Psyche did. If I were Cupid, I would feel angry first; then, I would ask Psyche explaining her reason. I won’t flee without a word because it’s cruel and unreasonable. Because of the old saying” Even Homer sometimes nods.” I will try to forgive the person who broke the promises if he or she is sincere. I think it’s hard to see a person with heart unless we pay efforts with our whole heart. It certainly needs hard work to realize a person completely.

    In my opinion,to love someone what we really love is not easy as we think. We should tolerate drawbacks and love merits what the one you love. If I were Psyche, I would make every effort to see Cupid again, for I’m really sure he is the one who I really love.
    I consider that Psyche’s behavior has no question about wrong and right for the reason that she is just curious about her husband’s appearance. Scared that maybe Cupid is a monster which would hurt her, Psyche is going to find out the answer behind the shadow. Therefore, I think it is
    normal for her to do such a behavior.
    If I were Cupid, I would pretty upset at first; however, I think I will finally forgive persons who break the promis. Because no one is perfect, I should try to forgive them and givr them another chance to make up for their own deficiencies.
    Yes, I think we could see a person with our own heart. In my opinon, there are two ways to see a person with our own heart. You should open your “eyes” to feel and observe everyting about this person. Don’t just look at the facial thing on this person. Another way is through Phenomenology. You could ask yourself some questions: What if she/he lacks of the qualities, is she/he the person we knew before? This way can let you know the truth about this person.

    If I were Psyche, I would try any way to see Cupid. It make me feel scared if I can’t see my husband’s appearance so I think Psyche didn’t do anything wrong. If I were Cupid, I would feel hurt at first. You were hurt by someone you love because the one who you love didn’t trust you. But after thinking, I will forgive the person I loved. We should think the other person’s think so that we will realize things more and we will feel better, too. Finally, in my view, people always see others by eyes at first. We always see people’s appearance and behaviors. When we know someone more, we will feel things by our hearts. It is possible to see someone with your heart but you have to know some things about someone at the first time.

    If I were Psyche I might try everything effective to see Cupid. But I think Psyche shouldn’t break the promise. If you break your promise you will pay for it.
    If I were Cupid I won’t ran away like that, maybe I will leave to icing my shoulder first. I will tell her we are over for her foolish and distrusted. I would forgive a person who has broken promise but forgiveness and to become friends or lover again are different two things and how can we see a person truly is without eyes? It’s impossible to see through people but we can look into his or her friends then we can find out what kind of person he or she is. There is no way rotten garbage can pretend to beautiful roses.

    Maybe I would like to see Cupid because of curiosity. I think Psyche was wrong to see him with a lamp. If I were Psyche, I must get his permission. What if the person who has broken my promise, I would see the attitude of that person. If he didn’t care about this, I won’t forgive him. However, he wants to make up what he did, I will forgive him. Although we may think a person with appearance at the first sight, it will change. Eventually, you will find a person who have the common goal.

    If I were Psyche, I would try every possible to see Cupid. If I can’t see my husband’s appearance, I would feel nervous and anxiety. In the story, I think that Psyche shouldn’t broke promise, because trust is very important thing in our lives. With trust, everything could be better than before. If I were Cupid, I would be angry and forgive her. Because everyone would make mistakes, I should give chances to them and let them know that they are wrong and how to improve. Last but not the least, everyone would comment through their appearance and behavior. We should improve and try to appreciate their thought and heart. Everyone should learn about this.

    Sure,if I were Psyche, I would do everything to earn Cupid’s forgiveness because I love him. Although I made a mistake but I wasn’t mean that because I love him, I want to see his face. Love built up with trust, but how could I love a man who I’ve never seen before? If I were Cupid, I would forgive her because all people have curiosity and it is not her fault. I don’t believe that heart can see a man because every man judge other people by the first sight. If I couldn’t see what he is like, I can’t assure how deep I love him.

    Shakespeare says” Love songht is good, but given unsought is better”. Eros loves Psyche not only her appearence but her everyting. It’s a really true love. If I were Psyche, I would like to try everything possible to see Cupid because I can’t accept a invisible husband. And I think Psyche is right to to see her invisible husband by lighting a lamp. Beacuse all the normal people will do this thing. If I were Cupid, I will forgive Psyche and not leave. If somebody has broken the promise who made to me, I will forgive he/her. Beacuse there is nothing can’t forgive as long as we have love in our heart. The heart must use the language communication, likes having attentively to feel. If we do same thing to other people, there is nothing possible.

    If I were Psyche, I think I would try eveything to see what Cupid looks like. On the other hand, I won’t fall in love with someone invisible. Also, it’s hard for me not allowing to see Cupid. And, I think there’s no wrong or right to judge Psyche. Although she promised not to see Cupid, out of curiosity she unveiled it. If we love someone deeply, we will try hard to know everything about him or her. At that moment, I must be very angry when someone reveal my private secret. I may just leave without a word like Cupid. Let her know how mad I am. But, I will leave them room to clarify themselves. Everything is reasonable and forgivable.
    To see a person with our heart? Yes, to feel what he/she done for us via his/her attitude. We can know a person by our sensitive heart to feel what they look like, which are thier inner hearts ,instead of shallow appearances.

    If I were Psyche, I think that I would do everything which I can do, for just to see Cupid. However, I think that Psyche was wrong to see Cupid with a lamp because she breaks their promise. Promise is very important to our daily life, for example, when somebody give you a promise but he does not do or break this promise. I think that you will be really disappoint to him even do not want to make friend with him any more. If I were Cupid, I think that I will give Psyche a chance because she just wants to see me and she did not see me on purpose. In my view, I will usually give a chance to someone who breaks our promise. Although I am really keep our promise in my heart, I am a soft-heart person. I do not want our relationship will be embarrassed in the future so I will tell him about my feelings and give him a chance, but just only ONE chance. I think that we can see a person with our own heart just from their action.

    I don’t want to be Psyche, because a beautiful girl will be hated by many people. No, I think Psyche was right because everyone wants to know the man who I love. She just wants to see Cupid’s face, but she makes mistake to see him. So she needs to have some punishments. I think I will be like Cupid to flee without a word at the sight of the mistrust. I would not forgive someone who makes promise to me, because I don’t want to guess who breaks his or her promise to me. I like someone to make promises that he or she will make sure to promise to me. I think no one can see someone in their heart because your heart can’t memorize someone’s face. Maybe they mean they will keep you in my mind. Perhaps Cupid wants Psyche to understand his meaning.

    I think if I were Psyche I will do the same thing .Because sometimes you may feel lonely and you want someone to stay with you ,besides,I can’t love someone that I don’t know.And if I were Cupid ,I would forgive her .I think this promise is not reasonable and he should more consider Psyches’ feeling.I think if someone I love broke the promise ,I would forgive him.Because everyone would make a mistake and we should give them a chance.
    I couldn’t see someone by my heart but I can feel it .If you sincerely treat someone,that one must know without any word.

    I think my response is affirmative. If I were psyche, I would be willing to take all the trial to see Cupid. “The attempt to see Cupid” itself isn’t something wrong since everyone could be curious, but to see him “by lighting a lamp” is worth thinking about! If she lighted a lantern or a lamp with a transparent case covered outside, the hot oil may not drop on Cupid’s shoulder and wake him up. With the feeling mixed of deep love and disappointment, I believe that I would probably act like him. I couldn’t tell directly whether I would forgive a person who has broken the promise between us. It depends on what kind of the promise he or she made to me and the attitude the person shows toward the happening. Of course we can see a person’s “heart” with our own heart without considering the facial part of a person. It is less possible that you could “feel” nothing when others treat you with their true heart.

    I wouldn’t do the same way as her because I’ve made a promise to Cupid. Trust each other is an important affair in a marriage. She’s too rash to do this trick, maybe she can ask him in an appropriate way for his true look.
    We can’t say neither she’s wrong nor right because anyone will be curious about their own love’s appearance. She just chose a stupid way and didn’t think carefully before she did it.
    If I were Cupid, I won’t forgive her. I said clearly about the rule and she had also promised. No one is perfect and we should fill our heart with forgiveness. But once you made a promise you have to do it, unless you have a rational reason.
    It’s hard to see a person with our own heart. You must get into know that guy pretty well and you have to like or love this person at some special level. It’s not a simple thing that everyone can reach.

    If I were Psyche, I would try to see my husband’s mystification appearance. That would break our promise, but the thing that you should not do makes you have more curiosity. As my vision, every wife will want to know own husband’s everything including his appearance. Nowadays, many people just care about their appearance.
    Although the appearance is not the most importance, it gives us the first impression that I think it still important. I will forgive the person who breaks our promise because human will make mistake. To Cupid vision, he thought Psyche could see him with her heart. I consider that everyone wrangles or misunderstanding including the “true love” couple! Cupid should not disappear without a word. Nevertheless, they should communicate each other. I don’t think we can see a person with our own heart, we still have communication.

    if i were psyche ,i would keep my promise to not to see cupid. Curiousity can kill a cat, i will ask him if i can see his face .i think psyche was right, but at the same time if i were cupid i would have a little disappoint to psyche owing to that was our promise, not for person but each other. i think i’ll be like cupid that flied without a word at the sight of the mistrust .i can not forgive those people who had made a promise to me but didn’t keep it. To me, promise is a mutual trust and that is kind of unwritten understanding.If someone break it i would feel i am not be trusted and unrespected.as far as i am concern, i believe heart can see through someone’s face if we deeply love and undersand each other

    If I were Psyche, I would try any way to see Cupid again. I think I will very scare if I can’t see my husband’s face. Though he is my husband, I never know him at all. So I think Psyche did not do wrong. If I were Cupid, when I found my wife did not believe me at all, I will feel upset at first. But if Cupid changes his mind, he will know why Psyche didn’t believe at him. And I will forgive Psyche, because she is my beloved one.
    In my opinion, people usually see others by face at first. We don’t really know them. But if we get alone for a couple months, we will see in their heart.

    Yes,of course I would try everything possible to see my husband, because I am a human , not deity, I have human feelings , like lonely, fear… ;beside, It is considered that appearance is important, if Cupid is a monster, that would be a differant story.(Psyche will run away) if I were Cupid, I would do the same thing, because trust is necessary for love, without trust, love can’t live long. I would forgive the person who break our promise , if the thing doesn’t matter. Acctually,I don’t think we can really see a person in our own heart
    ,we just want to see what we want to see, for that reason, even if you realize someone totally, you still cover your expectative image on the person, and the environment will do the same thing. It’s very complicated. so I say, no one can see the person with heart.

    I would be like Psyche to try any possible way to see someone I loved. And I think Psyche was not wrong because I can do this behavior out of curiosity as well. In addition, I also agree Cupid’s treatment toward Psyche and don’t forgive the person who has broken the promise to me. Since the promise which reflects someone’s responsibility is really important. Finally, I believe we can see a person with our own heart by treating people honestly and knowing people deeply.

    If I were Psyche, I would try as possible as I could to find my husband although he is invisible. I don’t think she was wrong in an attempt to see her invisible husband by lighting a lamp because she was very worried about why she can’t see him, it is very mystery. If I were her, I would doubt myself whether I have a husband, maybe he is my fantasy come; so that, I think what she did is correct, but the truth is often brutal.
    If I were Cupid, I wouldn’t like him that without saying anything then disappears. He is simply trying to avoid and it is very irresponsible. I would forgive the person who has broken the promise made to me, but I will never trust him. He broke the promise that represent you are not important in his heart; I did not need to see his words so important.
    I think we can’t really see all of a person’s character with our own heart. If we only use our heart, we can just only be subjective to identify his character. I think to really understand a person is to through long between coexistence slowly discovered.

    If I were Psyche,I would do my best to make cupid forgive me.Even if knowing that forgiving someone’s mistake is not so easy,I would do anything in spite of all the tribulations I might go through,just for winning Cupid’s heart back.
    If I were Cupid,I would forgive Psyche because of her hard working for my trust.
    I think It’s very difficult to exactly realize someone with our heart.We always see others’ surfaces instead of their true soul.If we try hard to realize others with our hearts,we will find lots of deeper things inside them.

    If I were Psyche, I would not do that because I have already promised Cupid. But I will ask Cupid to let me see him even only once before I married him, or I will feel unfair to me. To me, I think Psyche wasn’t much wrong in attempt to see Cupid because I think it is nature and normal. I believe that everyone has a curious heart, so it is not hard to imagine why Psyche wants to see Cupid. No, if I were Cupid, I would explain why I didn’t let her see my face and told her that because of her curious heart, I have to leave her.
    I think it depends on what the person do to me. If I think it’s too serious, I won’t forgive the person. In contrast, if it’s little things, I will forgive the person. I think it is some kinds of difficulties to see someone with our own heart unless you are very familiar with the person.

    Love is possible. If I were Psyche I will try everything possible to see Cupid. I am not afraid and scared to do anything no matter who wants me to do. I just want to see my husband again. I don’t think Psyche was wrong to see her invisible husband by lighting a lamp. If I were Psyche I must be curious about my “invisible” husband. I will do same action like her. If I were Cupid I would immediately fly away. But I will listen to her explanation after I calm down and I will forgive her. I don’t think people can fall in love only with their hearts. They must to get along with a true person.

    If I were Psyche, I would do anything to save Cupid. Yes, I think Psyche was wrong in an attempt to see her invisible husband by lighting a lamp. If she trust Cupid, she would never do that to him. If I were Cupid, I would react just like him. Yes, I would forgive the person who has broken the promise, we should act tolerant towards everything we encounter. I think we can really see a person with one’s heart, appearance isn’t everything. What’s more important is one’s heart, we can also communicate with it.

    If I were Psyche, I would do the same thing. At first ,I would keep our promise. But as time went by, I may want to see my invisible lover with curiosity. It is not mean I don’t trust him. It is because I think we are lover, why you still not appear in person to let me see? I believe nothing can destroy our true love we built up from past to now.But I may not like Psyche to get a glimpse of her invisible husband without discuss with him. I would tell him my true feelings to him and let him know what I think.
    If you were Cupid, I would do the same thing. I can’t realize what my lover’s purpose immediately. And I would get confused and angry at first.     If i wew Phyche, maybe i would do everything only to see what does Cupid look like. i don’t think i am the kind of person who can stand the undisclosed appearance of my husband. i don’t think Psyche was wrong about that, she was just curios. Every normal woman would be curios about her husband’s appearance. As i said, i would do the same thing as her. If i were Cupid, on the other hand, although i think there was nothing big deal for Psyche wanted to see her invisible husband. i still agree with Cupid’s leaving. In his standpoint, Cupid expected Phyche once made a promise, she had to stick to it. However, she failed to keep the promise. As for the question, would i forgive the person who has broken the promise made to me? That depends on how serious the problem is, and how the person is.
    I believe if we know and understand someone really well, knowing the person by heart. We would have an unspoken consensus, which can make us see each other with heart.

    If I was Psyche, I would try to do everything to see Cupid and to get Cupid’s forgiveness. Because Cupid was the one who I love, I would want to company Cipid everyday. I do not think that Psyche attempt to see her invisible husband by lighting a lamp was wrong. She just want to get forgiveness, and she overcame all the tribulations. Psyche was really brave to pursue her true love.
    If I was Cupid, I would forgive Psyche. Although Psyche broke the promise and made to me, she still was the one who I love. Just like an argument between a couple, they would quarrel ,but they would reconcil finally.
    We cannot really see aperson in our heart. Maybe Cupid means that Psyche could see him in her mind, in her memory.

    If I were Psyche, I would do all I can do to see Cupid. However, I don’t think Psyche did something wrong. There is a proverb says “Curiousness can kill a cat”.
    If I were Psyche, I would not only light a lamp but also pull Cupid’s face closer to see clearly.
    If I were Cupid, it’s really hard to say what I would do. After all, It’s really hard to say anything when your heart broken. I think I would do the same thing as what Cupid did. I would leave quietly.
    And about what Cupid say the Psyche, I think it’s really hard to understand a person with heart totally. It make me think of a song from the movie “Avatar”-“I see you”.     If I were Psyche, I wouldn’t marry someone who is invinsible in the first place. Psyche didn’t try everything possible to see Cupid, but she did make an huge effort to win him back after realising he’s actually quite hot. But did Psyche really agree and promise to the term “thou shall not look”? I wouldn’t make such promise. From the story, it didn’t seem like a mutural agreement. Thus, I don’t think Psyche was wrong per se, anyone would be curious. However, she shouldn’t have been convinced by her sisters so easily.

    If I were Cupid, i would probably fled and cry for help if my wife sat me on fire and while carrying a freaking dagger to bed. I would file a restraining order aginst her and get started on my divorce papers.

    The question of forgiving the person who has broken the promise made would all depend on what the promise is. I would listen to her plea to see whether or not it seems like a valid reason.

    How can we really see a person with our own heart? Through experence, sound judgement and personal wisdom, but not with love, its blind.

    Although there has not Psyche in our daily life, but there are also many people just like her. If I were this woman, I would also try my best to see my love. How can u love someone who can not touch and even do not stay with you? If I were Cupid, I would get back and stay with my wife.
    Love is forgive. If you really love someone with your true love you would want to give a chance to your love to reform herself. It should be a fresh start after this. As time passes, I think that we can discover someone who always beside us.
    You can sense what he/she is thinking.

    If I were Psyche, I would try everything possible to see my husband. I don’t think that Psyche was wrong in an attempt to see her invisible husband by lighting a lamp because I don’t think that I can marry to someone without seeing him to face to face.
    If I were Cupid, I would not flee without a word because I agree Psyche’s doing. I will forgive her. But, I would not forgive the person who has broken promise on purpose.

    If I were Psyche,I will do the same thing as Psyche.Because,if true love comes,it is definitely should hold it up. Loving an invisible person is hard so I can understand why Psyche didn’t obey the promise;however,trust is essential in the relationship of love.If Psyche believed Cupid more,she may would not to suffer a series of trials.I am a soft-hearted person,so if I were Cupid,I would not leave without a word and I would forgive the person although he or she broken the promise.I think it is possible to see someone with our own heart.Sometimes,an appearance can disturb people’s feeling.People may love with someone by their appearance but not knowing whether he or she understand their lover or not.If we can see a person with heart,love would be more truly and preciously.

    Of course I would try everything possible to see Cupid if I were Psyche. I would wlling to do every suffering since I love him so bad. I don’t think that Psyche was wrong in attempt to see her invisible husband by lighting a lamp. It’s perceived that why Psyche broke down their promise. Can we accept that we don’t know our husband or wife who sleep with us every night looks like? It doesn’t mean that Psyche is not a loyal wife, but just a woman who full of curiosity. If were Cupid,I wouldn’t disappear without telling anything, I would ask her to explain first ,then decide to leave or stay. I think it depends on is the reason acceptable to me about if I’ll forgive the person who has broken the promise who made to me. Since we falling love with somone we always believe what we see. It’s love .

    If I were Psyche, I would do same thing like her. I think she is innocent. Psyche is a normal woman. She wants to see what her husband look like because she loves him. If Psyche doesn’t love Cupid, then she won’t care about him. If I were Cupid, I will feel angry at the first. But I will give Psyche a chance to explain her behavior. If someone broke the promise what is made to me with some important reason. I will forgive him/her. Because everyone will has some hard time in some time. I think we could see some person with our heart. One thing we have to do is to understand other with our mind. Treat others truly.

    If I were Psyche, I would be best to see Cupid. Because he is my beloved, I think I ought to take care of him by myself. Therefore, I feel it’s not a mistake. By lighting a lamp, I attempt to see my husband at night. It stands to reason that I surely see him. If I were Cupid, I would tell a truth to prove what is a true love. Because the trust is important to hold by our sentiments. Although I’m afraid of to break this promise, I can try to forgive her.She is pretty serious to get married, so I’m able to believe in her heart. If a person can see someone with heart, I think it’s so hard to make a definite answer. As to me, I have to feel whenever I love somebody with a wholehearted heart.

    If I were Psyche, I think I’ll accept any task in order to get someone’s trust back. For Cupid, it isn’t respect to him that Psyche lighted the lamp to see him what did he look like. However, don’t any wives want to see what their husband look like? And I think Psyche’s behavour can be forgiven. For Cupid’s behavour. He can’t fied without a word, can he? He just hurt someone’s heart who is his wife. Anyway, the cummunicaton is the most important thing for a couple.
    If I were broken a promise then I would like to listen the breaker’s reason and forgive him/ her. If the reason is logicalness then I’ll choose to believe and forgive him/her.
    I think we can’t see thorough someone heart at the beginning, right? Because it’s too much obstruction to obstruct the relationship between two people. After the time pass throught, I think the relationship must be much more ingrained and we can see thorough someone’s heart.

    If I were Psyche,I would do it, too. Though Cupid warned her before, she still did it. Maybe, because everyone have curiosness. I think that why Psyche lighted the light.No, nobody likes be betray including Cupid. Even I want to give someone a chance to trust him or her again, it’s not easy or fast to get it. It’s not easy to trust a person who havd been betrayed you before. Yes,we can. However, we can see their heart by their behaves, talks, hobbies and so on. We cannot see people’s hearts derectly.

    If I were Psyche, I would want to see his real appearance; too, even I would not get married to him. Because marriage is a whole life thing, and you have to understand each other instead of a person you never seen. Therefore, l don’t think Psyche is wrong though she breaks her promise formerly.
    I would not respond like Cupid, either. The thing he does is rejecting communication which is not a good way to a person who you care about.
    I would analyze the thing is serious or not to decide should I forgive him/ her. If he/she has a reasonable excuse I think I can accept.
    When we use our true heart to communicate with each other, I consider that people would realize your sincerity. That is what we say ‘’we can really see a person with our own heart.”

    I think Psyche made a wrong decision while she was aroused suspicion by her sister. She should trust her husband, however she did not. It is a difficult matter to be unable to see your husband when your eyesight is normal.
    No, I would not respond like Cupid by leaving without saying a word while I was disappointed about my wife’s acts on me.
    I think I would forgive the person who has broken the promise who made to me, but it takes time. In the last lesson, we’ve learned the importance of forgiving a person who hurt you. The world is small, you can not live by lacking for people around you. You have to be friendly with any of your relationship.
    Yes, we can really see a person with our own heart. But IT TAKES TIME to see a person by heart. Sometimes, the one who has normal vision is also the one who is blind.

    if i were Psyche, i realy want to see cupid. if i can’t see him, i will be crazy. i don’t agree with cupid’s behave, because he hurts Psyche’s heart. if i were cupid, i will explain why i don’t want her to see me.
    true love is hard to establish and find. you can see your lover in their hearts and love their inner beauty. you should see their advantages in their hearts. it is very difficult to see everyone merits in their hearts.

    I am not sure, because I don’t know whether I love him too much to do those things. And I never saw him before. No, every one all have a curios to see his or her the other half. No, if I were Cupid, I won’t do like that. I will tell her my reason. Yes, I think that every one all may make a fault, and maybe he or she has a reason to break our promise. We may not see other people’s heart with our eyes, but, we can see his or her heart by his or her words and behaviors. If a person who is true-hearted, his or her behavior will show. Otherwise, if a person who is not really sincere, you also can know that he or she is not true-hearted.
