The other night I took  my daughter to a local clinic where she received medication in her right heel. While sitting in the waiting room, I opened a newspaper and scanned it iinattentively. But then I found out the news reported in the paper such as local politics, economy, and education were optimistic and praising the government. It seems that the new government has been moving the right direction in its various policies and done a good job. However, I will become upset, disappointed and even pessimistic if I read another newspaper which might charge the government’s bad policies and directions. Different newspapers report the same story but with differing angles.

Being a Christian, what view do we hold toward the world? Do we hold a Christian view or worldly view toward the things that happen to us? Every day when we wake up, we can choose to complain about our family, our work and our life, or choose to praise God for everything you have given to us. The view can really change our perception of life. If we look upon the Lord Jesus, we will follow his footstep choosing to love and serve. But if we look at the world, we will pursue our own interests and benefits, and glorify ourselves.
