A Christan couple after serving at church many years decided to divorce and leave the church. I was surprised at their decision and wondering why their marriage ended up in divorce.

Many Christian leaders when they’re called to serve the Lord were zealous for the Kingdom of God. They have sacrificed their time, money and even family for a higher purpose, to win souls in Christ. But the big mistake they’ve made is to discontinue their intimate relationship with Jesus. They would spend time doing Christian work, but ignore quiet time with Jesus. Little by little they’ve lost the vision that is to seek God himself.

Paul reminded us in 1 Corinthians 9:27 that he drove his body and trained it, so that after proclaiming to others about Jesus Christ he himself sould not be disqualified. Let’s walk in the Lord diligently and cautiously.
