On the mountainside of a remote island near the North Pole lies a modern Noah’s Ark, a large concrete room called “doomsday vault“. This vault or storage room is built to hold all known varieties of the world crops and protect them from catastrophic events, such as nuclear war, climate change, asteroid attacks, earthquakes, rising sea levels and terrorism. The vault will operate with little human intervention, but “polar bears are patrolling these mountain areas.”

When God decided to wipe out the human race by sending the flood because of its rampant violence and wickedness, he ordered Noah to build an ark to preserve his family and all the animals he brought in.  Noah did exactly what God commanded and the human history thus exists until now. But as John spoke of Jesus’ Second Coming of which no one knows, the old heaven and the old earth (the present universe) would disappear and God would give us a new world, the new Jerusalem where  He would live with his people without death, sorrow, crying or pain.

The world will pass some day, but only in Jesus will we exist into eternity.
