Walking With Him

We live in a glitzy and commercialized world where we are unconsciously tempted to buy what we usually don’t need.   We are told if we own or possess something, then we can be as happy as a sandboy.  So we are seeking happiness by pursuing wealth, power, and fame.

But what is true joy and happiness? Can we actually acquire it?  The Bible says that the law of the Lord is their joy.  ‘They’ in this verse stands for those who trust in God and love His word.   They study God’s Word and meditate on it day and night.  The joy or happiness derived from the reading of His word.  And they are like a tree planted beside a river.  Whatever they do prosper.
