The shooting rampage taking place at Virginia Tech is considered the deadliest campus carnage in US history.   The gunman was reported to be a loner, studying in a so-called close-knit school, a community of which ironically never felt a part.

In a family in which we’re supposed to know and care about each other well, but as a matter of fact, we can be strangers.  Let us ask God to open our mind and soften our heart so that we can love one another as ourselves.
