Welcome! I’m from Taiwan, born and raised in the farming town of Madou, Tainan, where my family grows pomelos, a fruit cherished during the Moon Festival. Fluent in both Mandarin and Taiwanese, I take pride in my cultural heritage.
Running is one of my daily joys—covering 10 kilometers each day keeps me grounded and disciplined, a quality I also bring to my approach to diet, often enjoying just one meal a day.
At the heart of my life is my Christian faith. Daily Bible reading, prayer, and Christian hymns are a constant source of inspiration for me, and I frequently write reflections inspired by these spiritual practices.
Professionally, I’ve dedicated nearly 40 years to education. Currently, I teach English at the university level, and I’ve also had the privilege of working with elementary and high school students over the years.
In my spare time, I’m an avid reader with a special love for fiction and Christian literature, most of which I enjoy on my Kindle.
These aspects—Taiwanese, runner, Christian, educator, and reader—define who I am. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me.
