Today on his Sunday message my pastor touched on the topic of union and separation. He pointed out that separation or departure from a person’s original group can be a good indication of another union as long as while leaving, he or she leaves a blessing not a curse or hatred.

It occurred to me that my first church I attended now has split into two. In the beginning I couldn’t understand why they split because they were supposed to love one another. But I came to realize that more people could be reached after they broke up. For the sake of God’s kingdom, it is a good thing to leave and more people can be united with Christ.
