I’ve been losing my voice for the last couples of days as a consequence of cough and uncomfortable throat. Yesterday before leaving for school my older daughter reminded me to pray for myself. My younger daughter later found out my voice was choked after school, came hugging me, and tried to restore my voice. Some of my students even handed me a packet of Vitamin C for soothing my sore throat and promised to pray over my coughing (though she is not a Christian).

Thanks to God that I am being surrounded by His love through my family and friends. They indeed demonstrate God’s love with encouraging words, giving gifts, showing kindness and the like. In John 13:34, Jesus commanded his disciples to love one another; by this the world will know that they are his disciples.

Love is the best medicine to all kinds of diseases, physical or psychological. You and I may not be a doctor, but we own the best medicine inside us. Start loving and healing the people around us!
