Naomi’s family moved out to a new land in the wake of a severe famine in her country. Unfortunately, her husband and two sons died during their stay and she was left with two daughters-in-law. By sending her daughters-in-law, Naomi decided to return to home land alone because she thought she was punished and cursed by God. She even changed her name to Mara, which means “bitter”. She thought he’d end up in loneliness and poverty.

However, what Naomi’s didn’t comprehend initially was God was still with her and blessed her thought the tough times of her. her story in life didn’t come to an end there. God used Ruth, a Moabite daughter-in-law to bless her, Later Ruth was married to Boaz, one of the rich men in the country and gave birth to a son, who become King David’s great grandfather.
