Prior to his arrest, Jesus took three of his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, where Jesus was praying alone leaving his disciples behind. Three times Jesus asked his disciples to keep watch with him, but they fell asleep. “So you could not keep watch with me for one hour,” Jesus said to Peter (Matthew 26:40).

Christians know that prayer is the most powerful weapon they can use to defeat the Satan. But ironically, they overlook it because they are too busy to pray, runing their own business from morning to evening, never to stop to “keep watch with” Jesus.

Let’s accept Jesus’s invitation and watch with Him one hour!
