Two Heads Are Better Than One

While the Israelites were building the Meeting Tent of the Lord’s presence in the desert, God told them to erect frames for the Tent. Each frame must come with two matching projections, so that the frames can be joined together. Also Make two sliver bases under each frame.

This construction of the frames, the projections and the bases reminds me of another story in which Moses, Aaron, and Hur were on the top of the mountain praying to God while Joshua and the Israel’s army were fighting the Amalekites. As long as Moses held up his arms, the Israelites won, but when he put his arms down, the Amalekites starting winning. So Aaron and Hur stood beside Moses holding up his arms until Joshua annihilated the Amalekites.

In our Christian walk we do need our fellow brothers and sisters to accompany us mentally and spiritually like Aaron and Hur. Spiritual guidance, words of encouragement or prayer support can be of great help to us if we want or walk unfalteringly. Two heads are better than one. We need someone to hold us up and we build someone else up in return.
