Sometimes we feel we are not enough, say, to give or help. We are reluctant to give away money because we have our own car or home mortgage to pay; we are unwilling to help because we find ourselves incapable of performing things well.  There are always reasons or excuses involved with our inactiveness.

In Mark 12 Jesus stood in the temple and sat watching the crowds bring their offerings to God.  A poor widow came and dropped two small coins in the box.  Then Jesus said to his followers, “The poor widow has given more than all the others has given, for she, poor as she is, has given all she has. (41-44).

God searches the hearts of men, while the men look at the outside. Do whatever we are entrusted and feel sufficient because of what He has done for us.
