Oh! Another Tower of Babel?

Have you ever thought that you wouldn’t have to leave your neighborhood while you live, study, work or shop? Here come the Ultimate Tower conceived by Eugene Tsui, an architect in California. The Ulitmate will be able to house at least one million people.  The height of the tower will be two miles and its width will be one mile.  The mega tower is intended to “provide a solution to counteract the uncontrolled development that is currently destroying the natural environment, to bring nature upward to preserve the surrounding ecology and to provide a natural ecosystem in a controlled environment. Once the project ideally completed, the areas of living, working, commerce and industry will be condensed into a vertical structure.

Are you looking forward to the amazing project? Well, I find myself winding up and down the Tower fo Babel, wondering about whether we would suffer the consequence of  what the people of the Tower of Babel faced thousands of years ago. In Genesis 11,  the whole world originally spoke the same language. They began to talk about construction projects.  They decided to build a great city with a tower that reaches the skies to show their greatness.  But as God saw the city and tower the people were building, he confuses their language by giving them many languages, thus scattering them across the earth.

Could the Ultimate Tower become another the Tower of Babel?
