A Taiwanese middle-age man was found guilty of sodomizing or having sex with  junior high schoolers regularly.  This paedophile cost him 12 years in prison.  The police also found that the man had met with these boys in an Internet cafe and plied them with alcohol and illicit drugs to keep them under his control.

The word “sodomize” is the verb form of “sodomy”, which derives from the city of Sodomy in the Bible times. What is all about the city of Sodom? The story goes like this:

One day God heard of all the terrible accusations against Sodom and Gomorrah (another city), so he sent angels to check if the accusations were true.  As the angels arrived at the city of Sodom, a man named Lot eagerly invited them for dinner.  Before the angels (or the two men) went to bed, the men of Sodom surrounded the house and demanded Lot to turn these two men to them because they wanted to have sex with the two men. But Lot rejected their request, and was willing to bring out his virgin daughters in exchange.  As a result, the two men struck all the men outside with blindness, so that they couldn’t enter the house.  Finally God rained down burning sulfur on the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah because of their violence and wickedness.

Today, “sodomy” is most frequently applied to sexual intercourse between two men or sexual relations between people and animals.
