Visiting space

An aeroplane company in California has planned to invest in space tourism. The Lynx, a two-seat rocket ship capable of  launching suborbital flights to altitudes more than 59.5km above the Earth is about to fly in 2010.  The Lynx in its initial stage will provide affordable access to space for individuals and researchers only and then it will be expanded to commercial uses.

What makes the Lynx different from other spacecraft is the vehicle itself which is designed to operate much like a commercial aircraft. It can make several flights to space a day.  Can you imagine one day that “space” will become a destination of the flight timetable at the airport?
