Bang, thump, and crash as the scaring sound roused me early in the morning. I thought my wife had dropped something to the floor accidentally.  On entered the living room I saw the broken pieces of glass and plastic scattered across the floor. The ceiling fan dropped to the floor. Thank God that my family were not around and got hurt.

The incident served to remind me that God is always watching over and protecting us from harm. As David said, ” a thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.” Praise be to the Lord our God!
