A six-year-old Japanese girl set loose a red balloon with her handwritten letter inside at her elementary school. Fifteen years later, a fisherman found the letter stuck to the side of a flatfish he hauled up from 100 meters below the surface of the sea and it is still legible.

“Cast your bread upon the water for after many days you will find it.” This is what the Bible talks about in Ecclesiastes 11: 1.  Things we do whether in secret or not will come out ultimately.  Even a tiny sinful act or good deed you thought no one would detect will reveal under the sun.
