Other than usual my kids couldn’t wait to get up early this morning to get their gifts ready for my wife, because today is Mother’s Day.  Yettheir excitement ended up making a fuss around the house so that “early birds” receive some rebukes.

It is a reminder to Christians that how we please our Lord depends on not the things we do  as far as we’re concerned, but on the work God has purposed us to perform.  Then how will we know God’s will andtouch His heart?  We please our parents by talking to them and really listen to them.  Likewise, by reading His Word, talking to Him, and obeying His commands will we definitely bring delight to Him.
