My family has moved in the currently remodeled house just over eight months.  We are all pretty excited that we have everything brand new, of course clean and tidy as well.  This morning when I  work around the house, mopping the floor and cleaning the windows.   They are covered with dust and dirt.  I started to ponder the state of my own heart

I know I’ve been cleansed of all sins  since Jesus came to my heart.  But am I like that neglected window clothed in dust and dirt?  I won’t wash the windowns every day.  And yet, how about my heart? Do I need to take a great care of my soul?  God requires us to go through constant dusting and cleaning by prayer, confession, and obedience to His Word.
