Havng been teaching for more than two decades, I wonder how students assess a great or an ideal teacher.  Do they evaluate a teacher’s expertise in his/her field of study, how knowledgable and intellectual he or she seems to be?  Or do they value how a teacher is caring or supportive in whenever they need help? Very likely a teacher ought to model himself for the students and lead them to joyful learning.
